My name is Shawn Alexander. I’m a Certified Public Accountant and lover of all things budgeting. I got married in October of 2023 and spent a lot of time figuring out how to make my wedding vision come to life with my budget.

I was frustrated by the lack of financial resources available to brides and grooms, considering the average cost of a wedding in 2023 was $30,000. With such a huge investment on the line, why wasn’t there any support specific to budgeting?

After my wedding, I dreamed up what is now Alexander Advisory through conversations with anyone who would listen. I felt moved to share my frustrations about the lack of available options, and finally gained the courage to put myself and my financial expertise out there to provide a solution!
